WOW.The start of September and Spring has brought alot of exciting new things with it! I've been absolutely completely ran off my feet juggling work/life/uni/family.
At the start of the month, I turned 25. I'd honestly been dreading my birthday this year, as 25 years old seems like such a serious age. I sometimes feel like I haven't got my shit together and achieved anything yet... like I should've accomplished more with life by now... Growing old is so stressful!
It turns out though, my 25th Birthday bought with it plenty of exciting news and things!
The day before my birthday my wonderful sister gave birth to a beautiful little girl. I am so excited to have a little niece in my life to cuddle and sew clothes for! On my actual birthday I was given a new exciting work opportunity. Then, the day after my birthday, me and Shaun began moving into our new apartment. So I have a new niece, new job and new home, all in the space of 3 days....plenty of things to distract me from getting old!
I spent my actual birthday on train heading up to Wodonga to visit my wonderful Grandma and Shaun, who had been doing placement up there all week. We had dinner together at my Grandma's house. The next day Shaun and I drove back to Melbourne, but we of course made a cheeky stop off at All Saints Winery in Rutherglen, where we tasted and bought some celebratory bottles of wine! It was absolutely amazing weather =]
Shaun is by far the wine critique in the relationship, but I know how to taste and drink a bottle or two also ;)
Looking forward to the next twenty five years of adventures.
