August Long

Michaela at August Long had a vision for a fun and functional hip pack, but didn’t know how to get her idea from inside her head into a manufacturable product.

I worked with Michaela across the whole design process to help bring her idea to life. This included sketching and developing product concepts, design refinement, concept prototyping and finally packaging the whole design into a tech pack to hand over to her manufacturing partner.

The final result was a small production run of beautiful, colourful & happy bags that can be worn across the body, across the hip, on your bike frame or on your handlebars! All made from recycled polyester fabric and made locally in Vancouver, BC.
